Peace is a Christ-centered church that is devoted to “proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all” (Acts 10:36). On the cross, Jesus suffered “the punishment that brought us peace…by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Risen from the dead Jesus says “Peace be with you!” (John 20:19)In the midst of an unpeaceful world, Jesus promises you: “My peace I give you. Not as the world gives you do I give to you” (John 14:27).
We are eager to share this good news of peace through Jesus with you!
We conclude Lent with a special service focusing on the new and eternal life we have as those baptized into Christ. We believe the Bible is the true, inspired, and infallible word of God, preserved for generations; to teach all people about Jesus.
We believe that mankind is totally immersed in sin from conception, and therefore in desperate need for a Savior.
We believe that Jesus, who is true God, is our savior. He became incarnate as a man, to perform his saving work, by living a perfect life in our place, and dying as our substitute.
We believe that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ our Savior.
We believe faith is a free gift from God, which we can neither create nor generate on our own, rather it is a gift that is given to us in Word and Sacrament.
We believe all of these teachings are revealed to us in the Word of God.
