On April 5, we will join believers past and present in celebrating the Pascha of our Lord!  The what?  An older (and arguably more widely used) name for the great day of our celebration of Jesus’ Resurrection is Pascha.   Pascha is the Greek way of saying “Passover,” and is what early Greek speaking Christians throughout the Roman Empire called the day.  Our English word “Easter” comes from a later Anglo-Saxon word, describing the time of year.  Come learn why Passover is a fitting name for Easter and enrich your understanding and celebrating of Jesus’ Resurrection by seeing the Old Testament connections to the events of Holy Week and Easter.

Join us Sunday, March 22nd at 9:20 am in the worship space.
